Camp Programming Overview
Lights, camera, superhero action! This week, you'll create your own super-powered puppet heroes from scratch, create the coolest adventure story ever, and put on an epic puppet show that'll blow everyone's minds! Will your hero battle villains? Save the city? Team up with friends to stop an evil plot? You decide! Design incredible puppet costumes, build backgrounds, and practice your hero voices! Along the way, you'll discover the secret superpower that makes all heroes unstoppable—friendship and kindness!

Service Project: 100 Acts of Kindness Hero Challenge
Your hero squad has an epic mission: complete 100 Acts of Kindness around camp and in the community! Tackle daily kindness challenges like writing encouraging notes, creating "You Are Awesome!" cards for frontline workers, making friendship bracelets, and performing secret acts of kindness while tracking every good deed on your squad's giant "Hero Kindness Meter." Celebrate your kindness victory at the end of the week—because the greatest superpower is making the world better one kind act at a time!

Attention, recruits! Your mission: construct an epic life-size superhero fortress that can withstand any villain attack. Build LEGO® headquarters models to design your dream base. Design custom shields and capes that show off your unique powers. Then assemble your squad for the ultimate hero photoshoot inside your real fortress! Work together, unlock your confidence, and unleash your creativity. This is your time to shine!

Service Project: Fortress of Kindness Supply Drive
Heroes, we need your help! Local animal shelters are running low on supplies—and the animals need a team of superheroes to save the day! Create homemade pet toys and collect donated pet treats, build a special "Fortress of Kindness" donation station decorated with superhero symbols, and deliver homemade pet toys and donated pet treats to animals in need!

This week, you are the villain! Mwahahaha! Get ready to create bubbling potions, fizzing experiments, and totally wild science projects that will blow your mind! Mix mysterious ingredients! Make gooey slime! Watch explosions of color! You'll discover amazing secrets about how the world works while cooking up the coolest concoctions ever. Team up with other mad scientists to build incredible experiments together. Be brave and try new things! Be curious and ask "What happens if...?" Who knows what awesome discoveries you'll make? Get your lab coat ready—it's time to get messy and have a blast with science!

Service Project: Potions for Good (Care Package Creation)
Even villains can use their powers for good! Put your mad scientist skills to work and create care packages—mix up colorful bath salts, fizzy potions, and homemade playdough with instruction cards. Package your creations in decorated containers with labels like "Boredom Buster Potion" or "Smile Serum." We will donate them to other kids in our community!

Agents, your mission requires teamwork and respect for our community's wisest community members! Use your code-cracking skills to create custom puzzles, brain teasers, crosswords, and secret decoder challenges specifically designed for seniors in local nursing homes. Work in spy teams to test each puzzle, design colorful covers with spy themes, and include answer keys plus instructions for caregivers.

By the end of the week, you'll have your own superhero comic book to take home and share, plus you'll know the secrets of how real comic artists bring heroes to life. No experience needed—just bring your creativity and imagination, your courage to try new things, and get ready to unleash your inner superhero creator!

Service Project: Heroes for Hope (Comic Book Donation Drive)
Comic creators, it's time to use your storytelling powers to spread joy and inspiration! Design and create original mini-comics featuring heroes who demonstrate courage, kindness, and resilience—then donate your creations to back-to-school supply drives to give kids a boost of superhero positivity for the start of the school year. Service Project: Heroes Honor Heroes (Thank You Packages for Our First Responders)
Heroes, it's time to celebrate the real superheroes in our community—firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and nurses who save lives every day! Create epic "Hero Appreciation Packages" filled with handmade thank-you cards decorated with your best superhero art, drawings of first responders as superheroes with capes and powers, treats or snacks, and inspirational squad posters signed by your entire team.
