Facility Rentals

Host your next event on our beautiful 800-acre campus! 

McDonogh School rents its facilities all year round and has an array of indoor and outdoor venues of all sizes for parties, weddings, conferences, meetings, sporting events, arts performances, and more. Availability depends on the school’s use of the space—and other campus-related activities— at the requested time. 

Note: All rental groups are required to provide proof of insurance that names McDonogh School as an additional insured party. Events with support needs such as housekeeping and security will require additional fees. McDonogh faculty, staff, parents, and alumni will receive a 20% discount on rental fees.

Athletic Facilities

HENRY A. ROSENBERG, JR. '48 AQUATIC CENTER

The Aquatic Center, which includes an eight-lane, Olympic-size pool, is located in the Rollins-Luetkemeyer Athletic Center. It is a great facility for swimming events and competitions for all ages.

ROLLINS-LUETKEMEYER ATHLETIC CENTER COURTS/EDWARDS MEMORIAL GYM

Capacity: 50 people/per court
Rate: $75 per hour

Our courts are an excellent option for any indoor recreational sports team or large-scale academic/athletic tournament. Each court comes equipped with six basketball nets. Bleachers are available upon request.

JOHN MCDONOGH STADIUM TRACK

Capacity: 100 people
Rate: $100 per hour

With a regulation competition oval and ample seating, our stadium is perfect for any track/cross-county practice or event.

TENNIS COURTS

Capacity: 10-15 people/per court
Rate: $25 per hour/per court

Looking to host a tennis tournament or just get together with some friends? McDonogh has 20 tennis courts available for all sorts of racquet fun.

BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL FIELDS

Capacity: 40 people
Rate: $100 per hour

Our baseball and softball fields are excellent options for team practices or weekend tournaments. Additional fees may apply for field preparation.

OUTDOOR ADVENTURE COMPLEX

Capacity: minimum of 8/maximum of 15 attendees
Rate: $30 per person

Looking for a team-building activity? Look no further than McDonogh's Outdoor Adventure Complex featuring a high/low ropes course and climbing wall.

DIXON TURF FIELD

Capacity: 100-150 people
Rate: $210 per hour

Lined for multiple sports (soccer, boys/girls lacrosse, and field hockey), the turf field is excellent for practices and games. Goals for soccer, field hockey, and lacrosse are available as well as nighttime lights.

WRESTLING ROOM

Capacity: 50 people
Rate: $100 per hour

This is an ideal option for wrestling practices or training.

 

Conference and Event Spaces

Aarsand 1873 Room

Capacity: 200 people
Rate: $2,400 for 4 hours/4-hour minimum ($300 each additional hour)

This beautiful dining room is perfect for a wedding reception or large academic meeting. It features large (round) hardwood tables and 200 chairs.

Esther Ann Dining Hall

Capacity: 200 people
Rate: $2,000 for 4 hours/4-hour minimum ($300 for each additional hour/tech coordinator required at $40/hour)

With ample seating and tables, this space is perfect for a wedding reception, children's party, or large academic meeting. Projection and A/V equipment are available for an additional fee.

Kassap Conference Room and Balcony

Capacity: 16 people
Rate: $300 for 2 hours/2-hour minimum (required tech coordinator at $40/hour)

Equipped with wireless projection, this conference room is ideal for team retreats or luncheons and has access to an indoor balcony overlooking Paterakis Dining Hall.

Mullan Board Room

Capacity: 40 people
Rate: $600/3-hour minimum ($200 for each additional hour/tech coordinator required at $40/hour)

Ideal for team retreats or luncheons; a projector is available.

Klein Lyceum

Capacity: 170 people
Rate: $350 per hour/3-hour minimum (tech coordinator required at $40/hour)

This lecture hall with a stage is perfect for any medium to large-scale presentation or performance. Projection and A/V equipment are available for an additional fee.

Rogers Lobby Pre-Function Area

Capacity: 150 people
Rate: $1,500/4-hour minimum ($750 if renting an additional space in the building)

The lobby area is perfect for event receptions and large gatherings.

Campus Green Lobby/Pre-Function Area

Capacity: 400 people
Rate: $500 for 4 hours ($250 each additional hour)

This is a great space for receptions and large gatherings.

Ritter Terrace

Capacity: 75 people
Rate: $1,500/4-hour minimum ($750 if renting an additional space in the adjacent Edward St. John Student Center)

Equipped with outdoor tables/chairs and a beautiful view of the Campus Green, this space is ideal for outdoor gatherings or social functions.

Roots Farm

Capacity: 100 people
Rate: $900/4-hour minimum

A 10-acre farm, Roots has two barns and ample outdoor space ideal for a rustic, indoor/outdoor party or wedding. The facility includes a first-floor restroom and indoor seating for 64 guests. Rental includes the use of existing outdoor furniture and picnic tables. Additional tables and chairs are available for a fee.

Tagart Memorial Chapel

Capacity: 200 people
Rate: $1,000 for 5 hours ($100 for each additional hour)

The Chapel is available to McDonogh faculty, staff, and alumni. A popular location for weddings, it is equipped with a baby grand piano and A/V equipment. 

 

Classroom

Capacity: 25-30 people
Rate: $50 per hour

Academic classrooms are available for meetings and private events. Touch screen projectors are accessible upon request.
