Student Leadership - Upper School - McDonogh School

Student Leadership

Opportunities for Upper School students to exercise leadership skills at McDonogh are vast. Students may choose to get involved in the Student Government Association (SGA), Student Diversity Leadership Council (SDLC), Greatest Good McDonogh Council, McDonogh Goes Green, and the Honor Council. They can also serve as organizers of clubs, activities, and charitable events. Additional leadership positions open to students include captains of athletic teams, editors of the school newspaper and yearbook, and directors of dance and drama performances. As upperclassmen, students have the unique opportunity to participate in the Rollins-Luetkemeyer Leadership Program, the Peer Education Program, and the Athletic Leadership Academy.
