Young Alumni Player | $150

Players from the Class of 2005 and younger are invited to join us at a reduced rate. This opportunity is limited to eight registrants.

A tax-deductible donation is your opportunity to support the Alumni Association and its efforts within the McDonogh community. McDonogh’s Alumni Association gratefully acknowledges the support and early response of the following sponsors. We welcome additional Pinehurst sponsors until Monday, September 15, 2020, and all other sponsors until the player spots are filled. 

Eagle Cup ‘Tournament within a Tournament’

In addition to our signature golf tournament, we will once again be offering the Eagle Cup for more competitive golfers. This ‘tournament within a tournament’ will be limited to 12 teams (24 players) competing in a two-person, better ball event utilizing verifiable USGA handicaps. 

Format:

  • 2 Person Better Ball net vs. the Eagle Cup field 
  • Field will be limited to 12 x 2- person teams
  • Teams will play in foursomes from the white tee markers
  • Scoring: Each team member will play their own golf balls throughout and the lower nets score between them on each hole counts as the team score
  • Winners are the team with the lowest overall net score 
  • Tie breakers will be by match of score cards by handicap holes

Handicaps: 

  • All players must have an Official USGA Handicap Index established by Sept 1st, 2020.  
  • 90% of the all players course handicap will be used and with a maximum adjusted handicap of 30.
  • The maximum difference between the team members’ adjusted handicap is 18.
  • Use of the Golfer Helpers Package is not allowed.
