(Rain date: Wednesday, June 19)
Kindergartners meet at Roots Farm to plant pumpkin seeds with their new classmates. They return to the farm in the fall to help harvest the crop and learn how to make pumpkin muffins. It’s their first farm-to-fork lesson! Please arrive any time between 4:00 and 5:30 p.m. to allow plenty of time to plant and enjoy a casual wander around the farm. This is a fantastic opportunity for new students to make friends, meet some faculty members, and explore our campus through a variety of activities such as swimming in the aquatic center pool and a scavenger hunt at Roots Farm! This is the first opportunity for prekindergarten students and parents/guardians to meet their homeroom teacher, find their cubby, and spend time in the classroom. New kindergarten through fourth-grade students and parents will connect with homeroom teachers and meet returning classmates before the official first day of school on Tuesday, August 27. - Bus Buddy Brunch for New Families Entering Prekindergarten Through First Grade

Following "Meacher Teacher," all new students and families entering prekindergarten through first grade will enjoy brunch and meet their bus buddies. Additional information will be sent in early August, but please mark your calendars now!
