Take Apart Day
Second grade engineers had a chance to put on their goggles and get their hands dirty the week of February 23 as they disassembled more than 50 pieces of mechanical or electronic equipment during Take Apart Day. The students dismantled a variety of appliances, cameras, phones, and printers. Working with Engineering II students in the Upper School, they discovered that many complex machines are powered by simple devices. How cool!
