On Friday, March 27, the Tuttle Gallery welcomed artists from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) for An Integrated Future, an exhibition exploring how technology is showing up in contemporary art.
Curated by MICA graduate student Kalen Chowdhury, the show highlights a range of approaches, with artists using digital tools to support and shape their creative work in different ways.
For McDonogh students, the exhibition offers a look at how emerging artists are thinking about and working with technology today. It’s a chance to see a variety of processes and consider how these tools might play a role in their own work.
The experience is further enriched by visits from the artists themselves, giving students the opportunity to hear directly about their ideas and creative processes.
