LS Closes the Book on the School Year
Before the Lower School Closing Ceremony on Friday, June 2, the fourth grade gathered for breakfast and to receive their McDonogh pins from their teachers. The ceremony began with prekindergarten through grade three processing down the hill, with their class banners, to Childs Memorial Terrace, followed by the Fourth Grade Drum Corps and the Class of 2025. Students and guests alike enjoyed listening to favorite memories and advice from the soon-to-be middle schoolers. After being presented with certificates of achievement, there were hugs, handshakes, and the much-anticipated “tossing of the blazers.” See video highlights here.
