Giving Levels

The McDonogh Fund is an essential resource that fuels our progress and our many points of distinction. Your gifts enable us to support the pace of innovation at McDonogh and to always have the best students, teachers, and programs. Our signature societies and giving clubs acknowledge our donors who give at the highest levels.

Signature Societies

The McDonogh Fund's signature societies recognize the highest levels of giving to our annual fund campaign. Donors are acknowledged for their generosity and their role in moving our school forward. Membership in the signature societies is extended to those who contribute $5,000 or more to the McDonogh Fund.

The Monument Society ($50,000+)

The Monument Society is comprised of McDonogh’s most generous annual supporters who make gifts of $50,000 or more during a given fiscal year. We are deeply grateful for this exceptional commitment to McDonogh’s students, teachers, and mission.

The Eagle Society ($25,000 to $49,999)

Those annual supporters who give between $25,000 and $49,999 truly help our Eagles soar. Thank you for making McDonogh one of your top philanthropic priorities.

The Orange & Black Society ($10,000 to $24,999)

This society celebrates McDonogh supporters who bleed orange and black, making an annual contribution of $10,000 to $24,999 to the McDonogh Fund.

The Shield Society ($5,000 to $9,999)

The Shield Society honors supporters who demonstrate their commitment to the school’s mission with a McDonogh Fund gift of $5,000 to $9,999 in a given fiscal year.

Giving Clubs

The McDonogh Fund's giving clubs recognize young alumni who have graduated in the last 15 years and other dedicated donors for their investment in the future of our students. 

The Compass Club ($2,500 to $4,999)

The Compass Club thanks the generous donors who make gifts of $2,500 to $4,999 to the McDonogh Fund in a given fiscal year.

The Seal Club (Gifts of $1,000 or more from Young Alumni donors)

The Seal Club celebrates exceptional generosity from donors who graduated from McDonogh within the past 15 years. Members of this special group will be included in events with The Shield Society.
