McDonogh Dances 2021
The McDonogh dance program didn't miss a beat during its first-ever virtual dance concert. McDonogh Dances 2021, attended by an enthusiastic crowd of several hundred, premiered during a virtual watch party on the evening of Friday, March 5. The unique event, a blend of on-stage performances, virtual dances, and hybrids of the two, allowed student choreographers to flex their creativity and explore working in new mediums.
After celebrating dancers from the Class of 2021 at the start of the show, senior leaders gave a glimpse behind the curtain at what rehearsals and the production process looked like during this most unusual year. Despite the hurdles they had to overcome, the dancers put together a wonderful performance that was met with rave reviews from the audience. Bravo!
