After competing earlier in the week with their social studies classmates, 29 Middle School students earned their way to the stage in the Horn Theatre to participate in the National Geographic Geography Bee finals on Friday, January 10. The finalists confidently answered questions about U.S., world, and physical geography. At the end of the competition, Sebastian P. ’25 and Zarina H. ’24 had the audience on the edge of their seats as they went multiple rounds answering questions. In the end, Sebastian walked away with the championship medal. However, his job is not over as he will next sit for a placement exam. Congratulations to all the contestants.
