McDonogh’s beloved Honey of a JamFest at Roots Farm celebrated its 10th anniversary on Friday, October 17 with a record turnout and endless smiles under a bright autumn sky. What began a decade ago as a small Roots Farm gathering has blossomed into one of the most anticipated community events of the year—uniting students, families, faculty, and staff in the spirit of service, learning, and celebration.
Guests made their way through the corn maze, joined hayrides, played field games, enjoyed fresh pressed apple cider, and listened to live music. From pumpkin picking to bingo in the barn, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
As Farmer Sharon Hood, Director of Roots Farm, shared, “This event has always been about community—celebrating the harvest, giving thanks for the hands that help, and reminding us how joyful it is when we work together for the greatest good.”
Many thanks to all the volunteers who helped make the event a success!
