Happy Diwali!
This Diwali, McDonogh’s South Asian community brought the celebration to campus with a “Flavors of Culture” lunch pop-up. Families shared traditional treats like mango lassi, giving students a taste of the festive flavors that are part of this special holiday.
The celebration continued off campus with an event hosted by the South Asian Heritage Circle, featuring great food, dancing, and storytelling. Through these experiences, our community honored Diwali’s message of hope, connection, and the triumph of light over darkness.
