Fourth Graders Plant Green Peppers
Fourth graders visited Roots Farm on Tuesday, March 24, for a hands-on look at where food really comes from. Rotating through four stations, they planted green peppers in the greenhouse, learned how bees pollinate flowers, spent time with the chickens and turkeys, and wrapped up with a taste of fresh salsa made from ingredients grown right on the farm.
