From September 15 to October 15, our community came together to honor and explore Hispanic heritage through learning, creativity, and connection.
Middle School Creativity
Middle School students got hands-on with Hispanic culture—making tortillas and decorating the lobby and library with colorful designs that celebrate the month.
Flavors of Culture
In the lunchroom, students enjoyed a “Flavors of Culture” event, sampling Hispanic-inspired dishes and sharing in the tastes and traditions of diverse cultures.
Lower School Learning
Our lower school students explored Hispanic heritage through classroom activities and a lively assembly. They also helped create a video sharing what they love about their Hispanic cultures.
Meaningful Dialogue
The SDLC and Global Ambassadors hosted a lunchtime conversation about the significance of Hispanic Heritage Month, encouraging students to reflect and discuss its impact.
From hands-on activities to thoughtful conversation, our community celebrated the richness of Hispanic heritage across all divisions.
