The McDonogh Fund Says Thank You
More than 60 McDonogh Fund volunteers and donors gathered in the Fader Innovation Center on the evening of Wednesday, May 11 to celebrate the closing of a successful year. Guests toured the space and toasted the contributions of McDonogh's Compass Club, Shield Society, and volunteer community.
Head of School Dave Farace ‘87 explained the real and immediate impact of the McDonogh Fund saying, “These dollars ensure that our students and teachers have the resources they need to be successful across all of McDonogh’s programs—from academics to arts and athletics to clubs and other extracurriculars.”
Incoming Vice Chair of the McDonogh Fund Sudhir Rao P ’28, ’32 added, “A commitment to give back and to serve others is at the heart of who we are at McDonogh. We give something more than we take, and this represents an important part–perhaps the most important part–of our School culture.”
