Kindergartners Pick Pumpkins Planted in the Spring
Eager to see how the pumpkin seeds they planted in the spring grew over the summer months, kindergartners took a hayride to Roots Farm on the morning of Tuesday, October 8. After a greeting from Farmer Hood and Head of School Dave Farace '87, the students hiked to the pumpkin patch, where they each selected a sugar pumpkin to take home, as well as others which they will turn into yummy treats in the culinary kitchen. Before returning to their classrooms, they ventured into the corn maze and working together found their way out.
