Sun Shines on Kindergarten Pumpkin Picking
There were a few bright spots in the middle of another rain-soaked week when the kindergartners went to Roots Farm on Wednesday, September 26 to pick the pumpkins they planted in the spring. In addition to the cheerful orange pumpkins hiding in the fields, the sun came out! The students delighted in discovering the pumpkins they will ultimately take home and those they will turn into delicious treats in the culinary kitchen. After their time in the pumpkin patch, they enjoyed fresh apples and a hayride back to campus.
