PK Pedals for Pediatrics
Bikes, trikes, and scooters flew around a race track built on the bus parking lot during PK's first annual Pedal for Pediatrics event on Friday, May 17. Earlier in the week, preschoolers made and passed out invitations to the event, which supported Johns Hopkins Pediatric Oncology. The Director of Development for Johns Hopkins Pediatric Oncology Stephie Davis read "Alex & the Amazing Lemonade Stand" to PK on Wednesday, May 15, and spoke with the students about how their efforts would help young patients. Upper Schoolers helped build the track and then stayed to cheer on the young racers.
