Fourth Grade Delivers Letters to Legislators
It is never too early for a little civic engagement. With that in mind, fourth graders traveled to Annapolis last week to drop off letters they wrote to their legislators. The letters detailed concerns the students had on a variety of topics including low-income housing and public school funding. While at the Maryland State House, students enjoyed a tour of the building and had the opportunity to sit in on a session of the legislature.
