With A.P. tests, finals, and final projects looming, along with a myriad of other events seemingly all happening at once, spring can be a stressful time for students. With that in mind, McDonogh became the first independent school in Maryland to participate in the Children's Mental Health Matters initiative. Students from all three divisions wore green shirts, the color of mental health awarness, and engaged in activities meant to promote positive mental health and raise awareness about mental health issues among students. From blowing bubbles and making chalk murals on the Green to simply taking the time to breath and be mindful, students cultivated coping techniques to help keep spring stress at bay.
