PK Enjoys a Delicious Treat
Prekindergartners were treated to a visit from Executive Chef Thomas Devine of Linwoods Restaurant on Wednesday, January 31. Gathered in the kitchen of the Esther Ann Brown Adler Prekindergarten, Chef Tom taught the junior chefs-in-training the many different ways to prepare the butternut squash grown at Roots Farm, including adding it to brownies and ice cream! This was one time when no one complained about eating their vegetables. After devouring their tasty treats, the PK gave the Chef a thumbs up and thanked him for sharing with their class.
