Sole Hope Party
On Friday, January 26, several students from the Upper and Middle Schools gathered in the 1873 Room to assemble shoe kits for the Sole Hope project. Leading up to the party, students collected donations of old jeans from the McDonogh community. After collecting hundreds of pairs of jeans, the students worked together to cut them into the patterns needed to turn them into shoes. They assembled 68 shoe kits so far, and are planning to hold another shoe making party in the near future.
