Awesome Headmaster's Day
The joy of Headmaster’s Day permeated the crowd of students, faculty, staff, family, and friends on Friday, May 11. The entire school community gathered on Childs Memorial Terrace to recognize 12 employees for 25 years of service and to celebrate with five faculty members who are retiring at the end of the school year. Special recognition was paid to McDonogh’s “awesome” retiring headmaster, Charlie Britton, and the staff of the Legacy yearbook dedicated the 100th edition to him. After the Lower and Middle Schools were dismissed, Headmaster’s Day continued with the presentation of academic awards to deserving upper schoolers.
