It was a "bee"-utiful morning for Prekindergartners to take a hayride out to Roots Farm on Thursday, May 10. The energetic group sang songs on the short ride out to the farm for their last Learning for Living session of the 2017-2018 school year. They met Farmer Hood and Beekeeper Gonzalez for a lesson about honeybees. After a quick story about a busy little bee, each student was assigned a job to do in the "hive." From the Queen to the worker bees, they all took on their tasks with enthusiasm and joy.
