Spirit Parade and Pep Rally Excitement
The entire McDonogh community was bursting with excitement on Friday afternoon, November 11 at the annual Spirit Parade and Pep Rally. The “double self-enveloping” Spirit Parade, in which everyone marches and watches, made its way from Tagart Chapel to the John McDonogh Stadium under a brilliant blue sky. The Pep Rally featured energizing music by the Middle School Band, a high-flying routine by the cheerleaders, a synchronized performance by the Step Squad, and words of encouragement for the football team in the 101st McDonogh vs. Gilman football game.
