Cracking Up Over Egg Drop
The fourth grade wrapped up their problem-solving unit on Thursday, April 30 with an Egg Drop. Earlier in the month, they were presented with the challenge to construct a container to safely hold a raw egg, using materials only found at home or school. The egg had to survive being tossed in the air from atop a ladder over the cement ground below. Students couldn’t wait to open their containers to see if their eggs survived the fall. In the end, some containers weren’t all they were cracked up to be!
