Big Surprise for First Graders
When Mary Catherine Irving’s first graders Skyped with their pen pals in Argentina on Monday, May 4, they received a big surprise...Mrs. Irving was waving to them on the screen! She is in Argentina teaching classes and meeting with the Prime Minister of Education in Buenos Aires to discuss plans to expand the pen pal program with more schools in America. Mrs. Irving’s classes have been corresponding with students in Argentina for the past five years. Muy bien, Senora Irving!
