The junior class officially becomes upperclassmen at the annual Junior Pin Ceremony in early October. Traditionally, the evening begins with a casual advisory dinner after which the class processes into the Ceres M. Horn Theatre for the ceremony. Remarks are given by the Junior Class Dean and class officers. The highlight of the evening is the presentation of gold McD lapel pins that the students proudly wear on their blazers.
