What You Need to Know for the Week of August 30–September 5

All-School Updates

  • Monday, August 31: Welcome back! 
  • Tuesday, September 1: First day of classes; show your excitement with a First Day of School sign. 
  • Wednesday, September 2: All-School Convocation; dress code: Lower School blazers over regular dress; Middle and Upper Schools special dress. 
  • Bus departure times this week: Monday: 1:30 p.m. (Upper and Middle School only); Tuesday–Friday: 3:30 p.m. Detailed bus and carpool information. 

Lower School

  • Monday, August 31: Meacher Teacher (returning students: 8:30 a.m., new students: 9:00 a.m.) ADD TO CALENDAR
  • Monday, August 31: Bus Buddy Meet-Up (9:30 a.m.) ADD TO CALENDAR
  • Monday, August 31: New Student Orientation for grades PF-4 (10:00 a.m.–noon) ADD TO CALENDAR
  • Monday, August 31: Gently used uniforms available. ADD TO CALENDAR

Middle School

  • Monday, August 31: Middle School Mingle and Munch, casual dress ADD TO CALENDAR
  • Tuesday, September 1: MPA-sponsored Student Welcome Back Event, during the school day ADD TO CALENDAR
  • Friday, September 4: Honor Code assembly, blazers required; families will be asked to sign a copy of the honor code

 

 

Upper School

  • Sunday, August 30: Boarder Move-in, 4:00–6:00 p.m.

  • Monday, August 31: Athletic practices; late buses depart at 4:15 p.m.
  • Tuesday, September 1: Summer English and math assignments due
