This fall, the Upper School Performing Arts Department brought one of history's most improbable stories to the stage with The Lark, French playwright Jean Anouilh's 1953 retelling of Joan of Arc's life and trial.
The performances on Thursday and Friday, November 5 and 6, in the Ceres M. Horn Theatre followed Joan's journey from a peasant girl to a leader of armies and, finally, a defendant on trial. Director Scott Heberling said he could think of no one better to tell her story than "teenagers bringing it and its meanings to life here for other teenagers, reminding them (and us all, really) that your voice matters and you can make a difference in the world."
Congratulations to the entire cast and crew on an impressive and successful production!
