Robyn Little Named Head of Middle School

McDonogh School is pleased to announce that Robyn Little, who has been serving as the Interim Head of Middle School since July 2021, will become the Head of Middle School effective immediately.

"As a member of the Senior Administrative Team, Robyn brings a deep understanding of McDonogh to this important position,” says Head of School Dave Farace '87. "Anyone who has crossed paths with her knows she is super enthusiastic, extremely approachable, and deeply committed to our mission."

Little’s career in education spans more than 20 years–working in primary and secondary schools as well as at the collegiate level. In addition to her current role as Interim Head of Middle School and her expertise as a classroom teacher, Robyn has dedicated much of her professional life to enhancing instructional practices.

She came to McDonogh in 2014 and served as a second-grade teacher and Lower School math specialist before becoming Director of Educational Technology for the entire school in 2019. Through the years, Robyn has been involved in all aspects of school life, serving on a variety of PK-12 committees including the LifeReady Learning Team, Student Safety Committee, and Wellness Steering Committee to name a few. She is also committed to our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion work and has designed and facilitated professional development sessions.

“Robyn is an outstanding educator and administrator who cares deeply about the personal and academic growth of our students," says Farace. "I am grateful for her dedication and capable guidance as Interim Head and look forward to what is to come under her continued leadership.”
