Cheer Dance Squad Accepted to Ravens LIFT Conference

The McDonogh Varsity Cheer Dance squad was recently accepted into the Baltimore Ravens 2021 L.I.F.T. (Leading and Inspiring Females to Thrive) Conference. An exciting opportunity for high school athletes to engage in leadership training, L.I.F.T. was developed to empower the next generation of female athletes and harness their potential both on and off the field.
The program utilizes an in-depth curriculum to engage young women in a conversation about how the skills they utilize during their sport translate to their off-field endeavors, including building relationships, college, and their future careers. Along with the leadership development sessions, there will also be a fun and active fitness class and a virtual welcome from a special guest.
