Swimmers Sink Dons, Win Title
Congratulations to the boys varsity swim team on winning the MIAA "A"
conference title on Saturday, February 3. The Eagles defeated the reigning
champion Loyola Dons by six points. Loyola has been the conference champion
for 20 of the past 21 years.
According to Co-Athletic Director Mickey Deegan, Loyola was ahead going
into
the last three races. "It came down to the last relay," she said noting that many
of the swimmers had their personal best times. "It was a team effort."
