12 Students Inducted into NJCL Latin Honor Society
In front of a gathering of classmates, teachers, and family
members, 12 students were inducted into the National Junior Classical League Latin Honor Society
on Tuesday, February 27. The NJCL Latin Honor Society is a special
designation given to Junior Classical League students who have
demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and citizenship in
Latin class.
Inductee Alastair C. '19 led Caroline A. '19, Kelsey C. '20, Nicholas C.
'19, Ellie H. '19, Garrett K. '20, DeLaney N. '20, Maya P. '19, Samantha T.
'19, Margaux T '19, Abigail V. '19, and Nikki W. '18 in the traditional candle lighting
ceremony. The students recited the society's oath in Latin and were
presented with membership certificates and cake.
