Six Student Athletes Sign Letters of Intent
Congratulations to the six McDonogh student athletes who, on
Wednesday,
February 1, signed their official letters of intent to play Division I sports in
college. The seniors were joined by an enthusiastic crowd of family members,
coaches, classmates, and teammates.
Before anyone put pen to paper, Athletic Director Mickey Deegan
addressed the seniors, saying, “On behalf of McDonogh School, we are
grateful to you for sharing your talent and passion on the soccer field and
gridiron. You have brought honor to your school and distinction to yourself
and your family. You are blessed with a special talent, and we know you will
continue to share yourself with your future teammates.”
Deegan also acknowledged their parents, noting, “You have been as
much a part of the teams as your kids, and we are grateful for your support
over the years.”
