Parent Program on Children and Technology Use

Are you concerned about the impact devices and technology may be having on your child's school and social life? Do you wonder how best to help your child use and manage his or her electronic devices?

The MPA Parenting Education Committee invites you to an interactive presentation to help parents navigate the constantly changing world of smartphones, tablets, and computers. Please join us on Wednesday, November 30 in the Klein Lyceum for Cracking the Code: Shepherding Your Child Through the Technology Web.

Following a brief presentation, break-out sessions hosted by division heads, teachers, tech consultants, and Upper School students will allow parents to learn more about specific areas including: social media management, demonstrations of vault and other mobile apps, the impact on neurological and emotional development, cyber-bullying and relational impacts, and effective suggestions for screen-time management and parental controls.
