Gordon Gietz: Tenor to Perform with Students Tonight

The Fourth Annual McDonogh Vocal Residency concert on Saturday, March 5 will feature resident artist Gordon Gietz, tenor and McDonogh students. Gietz who has had a distinguished international career, is also known for his gift of teaching. His passion and commitment creates transformative experiences for young vocal artists.

The concert will feature Gietz performing a solo repertoire as well as shared pieces with students from McDonogh’s Concert Choir. The concert, which begins at 8:00 p.m. in the Ceres M. The McDonogh Vocal Arts Residency is an annual, week-long musical immersion program led by a prominent figure in classical vocal music for students in Upper School. Founded by the family of Jamie Balter Levine ’11, the residency celebrates the arts program that allowed Jamie, and students like her, to cultivate a lifelong passion for vocal music.
