Celebrating the Meaning of Scholarship at McDonogh

Since McDonogh’s founding in 1873 as a farm school for poor boys, scholarship has remained at the core of our mission. On Thursday, April 7, a crowd of more than 300 current scholarship recipients and donors celebrated the proud tradition. They were inspired by the words of speakers Mark Jankowski ’82 and Chase K. ’16, who reminded the audience that asking for help and saying “thank you” go hand-in-hand. Listen to Mark's speech here and Chase's speech here.
