Reunion Weekend is Here

Reunion Weekend is here, and we look forward to welcoming hundreds of alumni back to campus April 23-26! There are many opportunities to revisit, reconnect, and explore our new spaces on campus. On Thursday evening, we will honor the following Athletic Hall of Fame inductees: Diana L. Owens '84, Alan T. Robinson '87, David Lunn, Jr. '02, Zachary H. Johns '02, Mary Beth Creed Todd '02, Anthony L. Lott '05, Tristram R. Thomas '05, and Coach Stephen G. Nichols.

Friday highlights include an alumni panel; lunch and a state of the school address by Headmaster Charlie Britton; McDonogh Remembers, a presentation by Jon Aaron '72 incorporating recollections and images from the school's past; campus tours; athletic events; an alumni memorial service with a flag retreat ceremony recreating the cadet tradition of lowering the flag; and a complimentary cocktail party.

Saturday highlights include a Cavalry and Riding Alumni Open House at the barn, more campus tours, and the family crab feast and picnic.

On Saturday morning, we also will be honoring the following recipients with the Alumni Association's Distinguished Service Award: Aida P. Gamerman, alumni parent and former McDonogh Parents Association President; Barry D. Rollins '74, alumnus, alumni parent, former Alumni Association President, and Director of Planned Giving; and Martin B. Sataloff, alumni parent and Athletic Trainer.

On Saturday evening, classes ending in 0 and 5 will celebrate individual class reunions off-campus.

On Sunday Evening, Reunion Weekend wraps up with the Gospel Choir Concert in Tagart Memorial Chapel at 5:00 p.m. Please join us.
