Sixteen senior student athletes signed their official letters of intent to play Division I sports in college at a ceremony on Wednesday, November 12 in the Aarsand 1873 Room. The athletes were joined by their parents and coaches who shared the qualities that make them critical members of McDonogh’s teams.

Athletic Director Mickey Deegan addressed the student athletes saying, “Signing this letter says that you are committed to being the best student athlete you can be next fall. You are blessed with a special talent and we know you will continue to share yourself and your dreams with your future college teammates.”

“Playing on the collegiate level will require more dedication and unselfishness on your part as you balance the academic college life with the athletic time commitment,” she reminded them.
