Parent Program: Brain Development and School Readiness

Are you interested in learning more about how your child's brain works and how play and pretend can lead to better classroom performance? As part of McDonogh's fall parent education initiative, Lower School teaching artist Kara Zimmerman and McDonogh alumnus, parent, and Board member Dr. Edward Ahn, an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital, will discuss the brain and school readiness.

The lectures will take place on Thursday, October 9 and Tuesday, November 11 in the Klein Lyceum (Edward St. John Student Center). For more information, view the program flyer. Invite your friends; all are welcome. Free childcare for children over the age of three will be available to those who register in advance.
