See The Wiz Sat. or Sun.; Friday is Sold Out!
McDonogh School is proud to announce the 2011 all-school spring musical, The Wiz. Students from all grades will perform in the hit musical that takes L. Frank Baum’s classic, The Wizard of Oz, and imagines these events in urban America in the 1970s.
Many young actors will make their stage debut in this production, which is directed by middle school math teacher Ken Waller, who runs the summer Young Actor's Theatre. It has been more than 25 years since a McDonogh musical featured students from all three divisions.
So plan to “Ease on Down the Road” with the cast and crew of The Wiz on April 8, 9, and 10 in the Ceres M. Horn Theatre. Curtain is at 7 p.m. on April 8 (SOLD OUT) and 9, and at 4 p.m. on April 10. Admission is $5.
