Farm-to-Table Learning Starts in the Pumpkin Patch
Kindergarteners took a hayride to Roots Farm on Friday, October 2, to pick pumpkins and explore the corn maze! These pumpkins were planted last spring, so our students got to see the full cycle from seed to harvest.
The following Monday, October 5, they returned to bake pumpkin muffins with the very pumpkins they picked. That's farm-to-table learning at its sweetest!
