Holiday Luncheon Guests Enjoy a Festive Afternoon
As December's chill settled over campus on Tuesday, December 9, the Aarsand 1873 Room offered a warm refuge for the more than 40 guests who gathered for the annual Holiday Luncheon—a celebration bringing together retirees, members of the Living Legacy Society, and the Half Century Club (alumni from the Classes of 1975 and earlier).
After Head of School Dave Farace '87 welcomed the group, Trustee Kristin Finkelstein '03 offered reflections on her family's deep connection to McDonogh, and the value of gratitude at this time of year. Her words resonated with a room full of people whose own McDonogh stories span decades. The festive afternoon also included favorite seasonal songs performed by the Lower School Chorus, the Women of Note, and Gentleman Songsters.
