Empty Bowls Event Benefits Baltimore Hunger Project
Guests warmed their hearts and souls on Saturday, February 10 at the Empty Bowls luncheon benefiting the Baltimore Hunger Project. The collaborative Greatest Good McDonogh event featured ceramic bowls made by Middle School artists, and soup, focaccia, and cookies prepared by upper schoolers in the Non-Fiction Food Studies class. In addition to raising more than $1,700 for the Baltimore Hunger Project, students who planned and hosted the Empty Bowls effort realized their power to do good in the world.
