Cuisine of a Contested Region Lunch and Learn

Students in two Upper School courses joined forces as hosts of Cuisine of a Contested Region on Tuesday, January 23. The lunch and learn program was the culminating activity for Cynthia Cox's Non-Fiction Food Studies class and John Wood's course on the Arab-Israeli Conflict. The classes explored the current conflict in this contested region through an examination of its history, culture, and food. At the luncheon, students displayed informative posters and served some 15 different regional and cultural dishes that they prepared.
