Rotating Service Opportunities for Ninth Graders

While upper schoolers were taking the PSAT on Wednesday, October 12, ninth graders participated in their first Greatest Good McDonogh Impact Event. The morning started with an assembly on service opportunities and an introduction to the partnering non-profit organizations. Later, students participated in activities for those organizations, including harvesting vegetables at Roots Farm for the Maryland Food Bank, making blankets for the Ronald McDonald House, assembling baby hygiene kits for Share Baby, snack bags for the Baltimore Hunger Project, and various other activities with the Red Devils, Cool Kids Campaign, Have a Nice Day Project, the Village Learning Place, and St. Vincent de Paul Baltimore. Way to do the greatest good, McDonogh!
