Culture, Curling, and Crepes in Canada

Expanding their worldview and reinforcing classroom lessons, seventh- and eighth-grade French students traveled to Montreal and Quebec over Presidents' Day weekend. They experienced the joy of winter while immersing themselves in the Canadian French language and culture, exploring downtown and Old Montreal, strolling the quaint steps of Quebec City, practicing curling at Club de curling Victoria, tubing down snowy slopes at the Village Vacances Valcartier, and learning about the tradition of maple syrup production at Sugar Shack. Along the way, they enjoyed a variety of food, art, history, music, and entertainment.
