McDonogh Celebrates Distinguished Service

The Distinguished Service Award (DSA) was presented to five worthy recipients at a ceremony on the evening of Friday, October 15 in the Klein Lyceum. After a reception in Rogers Lobby with Trustees, families, and friends, Head of School Dave Farace ’87 and President of the Board of Trustees Rob Young ’86 presented awards to the following individuals who have devoted their time and effort most generously on behalf of McDonogh students, the School, and/or the Alumni or Parents Association.   • Emily MacGeorge Clark ’90: an alumna and alumni parent who is known to volunteer for anything at any time
  • Michael J. MacGeorge ’61: a loyal alumnus, alumni parent, and grandparent who has dedicated six decades to McDonogh
  • Anita E. Hilson: a retired Admissions Director and alumni parent with an infectious smile
  • Douglas N. Silber ’76: a devoted alumnus, alumni parent, and generous philanthropist 
  • Debra A. Thacker: an alumni parent and 16-year veteran volunteer with the MPA
